Ingredients:
- 1 cup mixed nuts almonds, walnuts, cashews
- 1/2 cup pumpkin seeds
- 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1 cup whole grain cereal such as oats or bran flakes
- 2 tablespoons ground flaxseeds
- 2 tablespoons chia seeds
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 300F 150C
In a large mixing bowl, combine mixed nuts, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, dried cranberries, raisins, whole grain cereal, ground flaxseeds, and chia seeds
In a separate small bowl, whisk together maple syrup, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt
Pour the maple syrup mixture over the dry ingredients and stir until everything is evenly coated
Spread the mixture in an even layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper
Bake for 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway through, until the mixture is golden brown and toasted
Remove from the oven and let cool completely before transferring to an airtight container for storage
