Ingredients:
- 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
- 1/4 cup honey mustard sauce
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 egg, beaten for egg wash
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds optional, for garnish
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375F 190C
In a bowl, mix together shredded chicken, honey mustard sauce, mayonnaise, honey, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper
Roll out the puff pastry into a rectangle and cut it into 6 squares
Place a spoonful of the chicken mixture onto each pastry square, then sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top
Roll up each square from one corner to the opposite corner, forming croissant rolls
Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, seam side down
Brush the tops of the rolls with beaten egg and sprinkle sesame seeds on top if desired
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and crispy
