A delicious twist on classic brownies, these pumpkin chocolate chip brownies are moist, flavorful, and perfect for fall.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup canned pumpkin puree
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350F 175C
Grease a baking pan
In a large bowl, mix together pumpkin puree, brown sugar, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract until well combined
In a separate bowl, sift together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt
Gradually add dry ingredients to the pumpkin mixture, stirring until just combined
Fold in chocolate chips
Pour batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean
Allow brownies to cool before cutting into squares
